As Office Administrator and Patient Care Coordinator, Wanda wears many hats in front of and behind the scenes. She oversees all daily operations including patient scheduling, discussing patient treatment insurance verification and claims as well as a plethora of various administrative details. Wanda joined our team in 2004 and is an integral part of our continual growth and progress. Her passion involves face to face interaction with our patients and gets great satisfaction and fulfillment from seeing patients improve their life through our Prosthodontic treatment. She has immense knowledge of insurance policy and enjoys working with insurance companies in order to get the highest reimbursement for our patients. Spending time with her wonderful husband, children and four precious grand-children is a significant part of her life out of the office.
As Office Manager, Poppi has been one of our inaugural staff since our grand opening in 1982. Having been in Jacksonville since the early 1970s, Poppi graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. Her attention to maintaining the highest standard of dental care has been the vision of our practice. Having been involved in all areas of the office from clinical to administrative positions, she has played a vital role in the continuing success and growth of Elias Prosthodontics. Most of her time now is spent in the business office helping patients achieve their dental goals. She states that our patients come to us seeking our expertise and undergo life-changing transformations, thus it is our responsibility to make them as comfortable as possible while providing them with the utmost in prosthodontic care. These people become part of our extended family and we are honored when they are pleased with their treatment and return to us for their routine maintenance exams. In her free time, Poppi enjoys playing tennis, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Kim is a native of Jacksonville and began her dental career in 2001 in a general dentistry office. Her passion for dental health led her to seek a more challenging opportunity in a specialty environment and she joined our office in 2002. Kim is our lead assistant and is in charge of ordering our office and dental supplies. She shops diligently ensuring that our budget is maintained and that practice dollars are spent wisely on quality products. The most rewarding aspect of her career include transforming the lives of our patients from their initial evaluations to full mouth reconstructions. She enjoys volunteering her time in the dental field and has participated in various events including Healing Hands and the Florida Dental Association Mission of Mercy. Besides dentistry, her loves in life include her husband and two sons and she enjoys water activities.
